What is the osTicket Virtual Appliance?

It is a cohesive, supported stack for running osTicket inside infrastructure your organization controls. It combines the application, supported runtime, lifecycle tooling, operating conventions, and Enterprise Commercial Support.

Where does the Appliance run?

Deploy it in your private cloud, data center, or another qualified virtualized environment. Your organization retains control of the infrastructure, network boundary, application, and data.

Can the Appliance scale beyond one node?

Yes. The control panel is designed to create an environment, register additional nodes, and grow into a resilient high-availability topology as demand changes.

What is included in a trial?

The evaluation includes the Appliance download, a 30-day single-node license, and access to the control panel. Confirm your work email to activate your account and access the download and evaluation resources.

How are updates and recovery handled?

The Appliance provides a clearer supported lifecycle for assessing, validating, scheduling, and applying maintenance, together with documented backup and recovery guidance. Your organization still controls its infrastructure and operating procedures.

Does the Appliance make our environment compliant?

No product can make an environment compliant by itself. The Appliance gives security, operations, and compliance teams a clearer operating boundary in which to apply their required controls and procedures.

Where should existing customers request help?

Sign in to the Customer Account Portal. Requests opened there are connected to your organization, license, and support entitlement so the team can route them correctly.

How do I get Account Portal access?

Appliance evaluators activate their account by confirming the email used to register for a trial. For standalone Commercial Support covering self-hosted osTicket, our team creates the account after the support agreement is signed. There is no public CSA registration flow.

Where can I get help with open-source osTicket?

Community support, documentation, and open-source resources remain available through osTicket.com. Appliance Support is reserved for Appliance evaluations and customers.
